He also was working for Aramex Courier Company, Frostaire Industries (Air Conditioning), Sales Manager at IDAC(Pvt)Ltd(Air Conditioning), Brand Manager – McFOIL at McBolon Polymer (Pvt) Ltd. (PE FOAM Manufacturing Company for Packaging & Insulation), Business Development Manager at Tradcon International (Pvt) Ltd. (Construction Material Trading Company), Business Development Manager at Metroof (Pvt) Ltd (Zn-Aluminum Roofing and Heat Insulation Company) and was Business Development Manager for RPCC – RPC Construction (Pvt)Ltd. An ICTAD M3 graded company owned by Richard Pieris Group.

Fernando Trading Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was established on 1st of July 2005.This Company started its operations as a FMCG retailing company and expanded to handle distribution of Stassen’s food products and range of Ceylon Biscuits limited products which includes Ritz bury chocolates & lanka Soy.
With the success of distribution Fernando Trading Lanka started its service sector and at present is a transport contractor to a blue chip company Richard Pieris Distributors in transporting their furniture/mattresses/plastic items/house hold goods & also transporting fruits,vegetables,fish and meat items with company owned freezer trucks.
The Managing Director of the companies Mr.Helanka Fernando a Planter with 7 years working for Janatha Estates Development Board,Pussellawa Plantation & Balangoda Plantation in Tea ,Rubber & Coconut plantations and also with his 13years of past experience in the construction trade working for Frostaire ,Idac, McBoln Polymer,Tradcon,Metroof and Rpc Construction the management decided to enter the construction trade and has succeeded in delivering high results with customer desired satisfaction.

Mr. Deeptha Senanayake is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 12 years of experience, Holder of Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Member of the Institution of Engineers and Member of the Society of Structural Engineers in Sri Lanka.
He has held previous positions as Structural design engineer, engineering manager and many senior positions in local construction companies with high rise buildings and other concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures. He was attached to Jaic Hilton, Crescat Development, Commercial Bank at Slave Island, Libcoln Apartment and Kelanitissa Combine Cycle Power Plant Projects done by Mitsui Construction/Sanken Lanka Joint Venture at the capacity of Project Manager and Chief Designs Engineer.
Mr. M.I.KALEEL – Consultant Engineer (Highways & Bridges)

Mr. Mohamed Ismail Kaleel is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 11 years experience and has worked with Roughton International (UK) as a Design Engineer for Highway & Bridges Construction work in a World Bank Funded project. The Design work includes Pavement design, Vertical alignment, and Horizontal alignment, Structural Design such as Culverts, Retaining walls, Drainage systems and Design of Road Furniture. Also worked as an Engineer at Road Development Authority of Sri Lanka for 8 years as a Project Engineer
Mr. Chinthaka Munasinghe – Quantity Surveyor
Mr. Chinthalka Munasinghe is a NCT Qualified QS and also is qualified as an AutoCAD /Draftsman at Kollonnawa Vocational Training Centre and has 3 Years Experience in the construction trade and previously worked for Olympia Engineering, Archi Serve Architectural and Engineering Consultants (Pvt) Ltd as a QS/AutoCAD Draftsman.
Mr. SAMAN PERERA – Finance Consultant
Mr. Saman Perera is a Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and also a Graduate in Business commerce and is a Member of the Business Administration. He has experienced in business planning, forecasting, product costing and use of computer based applications appropriately in developing the business processes. He has 15 years in financial Management in multinational blue chip companies namely John Keells, Ansell Lanka and Lalan Group.
Mr. Kapila Premachandra –Assistant Accountant
Mr.Kapila Premachandra is ACA partly qualified at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and is a 3rd year student of University of Jayewardenepura, following BSc. Business Administration Degree .He has experience in the trade working for In PACT & SP Associates, Rajagiriya as an Audit Officer for a period of 1 1/2 Years and at AM Associates, Wellawatte as an Audit Officer for a period of One year.
Mr. Chandimal Fernando – Accounts Clark
Mr. Chandimal Fernando is a member of Association Accounting Technicians. He has 3 experiences in financial field in working for Sanasa Bank, Steadyline Business Management Services, and Sri Lanka ARMY as a Civil Employee.
Mr. Nishan Jayasuriya – Assistant Engineer
Mr.Nishan Jayasuriya is NCT qualified at Technical College –Warakapola .He has experience in the Construction trade working for Industrial & Commercial Development (Pvt) Ltd (ICDL) 4 years and 2 years working for Dharmadasa Construction and Dunara Construction.
Ms. Thilini Vimanga – Junior Secretary /QS
Ms. Thilini Vimanga is presently working as a junior secretary. And she is QS partly qualified at Institute of Quantity Surveying Sri Lanka. She had nearly 1 year experience as a trainee QS and also has knowledge in handling Purchasing/Procurement of Materials and PR activities.
Mr. Udara Chinthaka Perera – QS /AutoCAD Draftsman
Mr.Udara Perera is a NCT qualified QS and also qualified as an Auto Cad /Draftsman at Godagama Technical College .He has one year experience in the construction trade working for HIGH LEVEL WOOD FASHION, Pannipitiya .
Ms. Lakshika Liyanage – Auto CAD /Draftsman
Ms.Lakshika Liyanage is an Auto CAD/Draftsman qualified at Kolonnawa Vocational Training Centre and has One Year experience in the trade and also presently a student of Godagama Technical College following the course for Quantity Surveying.
Mr. L.A. Priyantha – Site Supervisor
Mr.Priyantha has practical & theoretical knowledge in many construction related operations and has worked for Fernando Trading Lanka from year 2005 and has nearly 3 years experience.
